On 4th July 2011, on the invitation of Mike Weller, Openned took part in Becfest, a local literary festival in Beckenham, London. To end our talk we invited two members of the audience to perform Allen Fisher's, The Art of Flight V1-1X (London: Writers Forum, 1974) with us. The performance was unrehearsed, we didn't make it to the end of the poem, and we didn't always stick to our assigned lines, but we are publishing the audio file of the performance as a testament to the dynamic, generous nature of Allen's work, and the enthusiasm of our co-performers, Lindsay Lea and Thom Shaw.
We also include: scans of The Art of Flight V1-1X, a scan from one page of to be and to be a book made by press free press on the night, which permuted aspects of our talk, as well as links to the other speakers' websites.
