Examining YouTube's Electroverbiage

As many of you know, Youtube has a "Commenting Limit Exceeding" box where one has to type in the "word" that they see on the right after they have commented three of four times in a row so that the comment-box can be re-activated for commenting. I have gathered some of those particular "words" that were produced for me and have gone on to reproduce them as 'actual words,' in which I have also gone on to provide my own personal definitions for each of them

Thai

Australian writer Harry Nicolaides has been sentenced to three years in a Thai jail for insulting the monarchy.

Nicolaides wrote a novel four years ago, which contained a brief passage referring to an unnamed crown prince. It sold just seven copies. He admitted the charge of insulting the royal family, but said he was unaware he was committing an offence.

Nuts, screwball nuts, like rock hard bubblegum at the end of a plastic cone full of ice cream, but the ice cream is actually dog poo and the bubblegum is made of Polonium. via BBC

Atone1

Simone Gilson:

The first of hopefully a set of digital works to come, Atone has been developed from my earlier poem on the marionette doll posted a while ago. Designed to experiment with the themes of identity, control and the body Atone uses the fragmented image of the marionette doll, (made almost cyborg in appearance) and the original text broken up and held back in stages to provoke the reader into exploring the text and body image for the next link. Each page has one or two links, (currently) invisible. To access the entire project repetition and the cyclical process are the key elements, so more than one exploration will be required!

Many of us are suspicious too that if we come into any kind of academic recognition, we are doing something wrong – more specifically, that we may be sacrificing principles for career. I don’t know if that’s true or not, and I suspect that it’s self-defeating or a trap set up by others. I think Jackson [Mac Low], for example, since we mentioned him before, has led a very honorable life as a poet, and that when some good fortune comes to him at the age of seventy-five, [laughs] and some hundred-thousand dollar award is dropped on him … well!
