machinebook revisited

We posted about machinebook back in June of last year. It's now worth another look. Good to see a project grow rather than stagnate. The floppy disk distribution is a particularly compelling idea, reminiscent of William Gibson's Agrippa (A Book of the Dead).

also thanks for the gibson link, i didn't realize that existed. i raised myself on cyberpunk and punk rock, gibson being some of the first i read, so this is a cool discovery for me!

Yeah I first came across it in an online archived interview between Salman Rushdie and David Cronenberg. Google Rushdie +Cronenberg +Interview to find it. Old Salman sticks his oar in. Again. Though I do like Salman. Sometimes. Reminds me of a roadkilled Alan Yentob.
